Shopping and Waterparks
As an update to my previous post...I've also taught Marin to make a "Rarrr" sound when you ask her what the lion says. It's so precious. [:)]
This past Sunday Eric let me go shopping. [;)] I love good sales! I got 2 pair of dress shoes at DSW for $30! And at New York and Co. they were having a huge sale and I got 4 pairs of pants and a sun hat for $60. I never buy anything for myself anymore. All the clothes I buy these days are for Marin. So I finally bought me some new clothes for a change and maybe in another 6 months I'll consider buying myself something again. [:O]
We also went to Hawaiian Falls in Garland Sunday afternoon. We had received free tickets from one of my co-workers whose church was hosting special hours that day. It was extremely crowded and the wave pool wasn't working. So we let Marin play in the kiddie pool for a while but we didn't stay very long. I hate crowds like that especially when I'm chasing around a toddler. I was thinking of trying out the new Great Wolf Lodge this fall or for Marin's birthday in February. It is an indoor waterpark and they keep it around 84 degrees inside so they can remain open all year round. It is a hotel so you actually have to stay there at least one night
